Sea Swim For Survivors

To mark International Women's day this year we are organising a Sea Swim For Survivors. Our friends at Southsea Mermaids (a group of women who swim in the sea EVERY WEEKEND 🥶😱) are helping us and will be there for the event. Details so far: Water temp in March is average 8 degrees - we are suggesting a run in, run out challenge, no hovering it will be far too cold, especially if you are not used to cold water swimming.…

The Invisible Noose – Coercive Control Awareness Training

Coercive Control became an offence in England and Wales in December 2015. As professionals it is sometimes hard to understand the levels at which perpetrators of domestic abuse will go to, to control their victims. This one day training will enable professionals to better understand the dynamics of coercive control and how to spot the signs of coercion, both in terms of perpetrators and victim’s behaviour.
